Our work in Barnsley

We have two accommodation services in Barnsley: a 17 bed facility at Quarry view and a 6 bed facility at High Field Terrace.

We also provide outreach support for up to 40 young people in the community who have their own tenancies.

Young people at risk of homelessness are referred through local authorities.

Our services not only provide a safe place for people to stay, but also skills and support to help people move on from homelessness:

What we do

Centrepoint campaigns to end youth homelessness by 2037. We provide homeless young people with accommodation, support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.

About Centrepoint

Starting out as a night shelter, Centrepoint’s work with young people has evolved beyond all recognition over the last 50 years.
