Holding a coffee morning or cake sale is the perfect way to raise money for Centrepoint and have a great time whilst doing it!
Decide on a date
Depending on how big an event you’re organising, it usually takes between two weeks and a month to plan so factor this in when choosing a date.
Pick a venue
Invite friends and family to your living room or if you need more space, look into hiring out your local town hall, church or café. If the weather’s nice you could even do it in your local park! Having a bake sale in your workplace is also an easy way to raise money.
Cake
You can either bake all the cakes and cookies yourself, or recruit friends and family to bring their own homemade sweet treats too to save some time.
Shout about it
Promote your event on social media and let friends and family know why you’ve chosen to fundraise for Centrepoint. You could even include the invite in your email signature too.
