Thank you to everyone who entered the Lake District House Draw, raising an incredible £1,000,000 for Centrepoint. The £1,000,000 donation, alongside a further £3,500,000 grant pledged from Omaze, will help fund even more Independent Living homes, giving hundreds of young people the chance to move from homelessness to independence.
Omaze Lake District House Draw
Thank you for your support. The Lake District House Draw is now closed.
You’re helping change young people’s lives
The Lake District House Draw is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered. Our partnership with Omaze is supporting young people to reclaim their futures and helping to deliver our mission to end youth homelessness.
The Independent Living homes will help young people facing homelessness unlock independence, providing the stability they need to focus on work, save money and plan for the future.
You’re giving hope to young people for generations to come. To see how support for Centrepoint is making a difference sign up to our newsletter.
You're supporting independence
The guaranteed £1,000,000 donation from the Omaze Lake District House Draw is enabling us to build more Independent Living homes, creating opportunities for young people to move forward and stand on their own two feet. With rent capped at one-third of their income, each young person has a place to call home for 2-5 years, giving them the foundations to build skills, work and thrive. You’re helping break the cycle of youth homelessness.
The £4.5 million pledged to Centrepoint will fund 30 Independent Living homes, helping young people to move from homelessness to independence.
A massive thank you from us all at Centrepoint to Omaze and everyone who entered the Lake District House Draw. These vital funds will help us build new homes for up to 720 young people who can’t afford to rent elsewhere but, thanks to you, will have the stability they need to leave homelessness behind and fulfil their ambitions.
This is the start of something really special. So, when you see more affordable homes for young people appearing across the country, you will know you have helped spark the movement that made them happen, bringing us closer to ending youth homelessness for good.
