Will you open the door to safety at Centrepoint?

Right now, there are young people feeling sick with dread, worrying about where they'll stay tonight. Stuck in a state of constant anxiety, they feel they have no-one to trust, nowhere to stay, and no hope that their life will ever change.

Every four minutes, another young person in the UK faces homelessness.

With our specialised helpline, supported accommodation, and holistic services, Centrepoint is uniquely placed to take vulnerable young people into safety. But we rely on the kindness of supporters like you to provide this life-changing support.

Anna's Story

Anna was left homeless in the freezing winter when she was just 17.

She'd been struggling with her own mental health for a long time, but her world completely fell apart the day her little sister took her own life. The strain this tragedy put on her family saw Anna being kicked out of their family home. Overwhelmed by grief, she rode a train for hours to stay warm, too scared to fall asleep in case she was attacked, robbed or worse.

In absolute desperation, Anna rang our Helpline from a station car park, which was the start of her journey to safety. When we quickly signposted her to emergency accommodation, she felt a wave of relief rush over her – she would be free from danger that night. And soon after that, Anna was referred on to Centrepoint, where she got her own room. Here, with our expert care, we're delighted to say she began on a journey to a more stable future.

Please donate today to help another young person, like Anna, get the help they need.
