Thousands of young people don’t know where they’ll sleep tonight.
This is no life for a young person.

Many homeless young people have learnt not to look forward to anything. Many have never opened the door to a loving home. They’ve never fallen asleep feeling safe. And right now, they are scared, alone and in danger.

Almost 136,000 young people have faced homelessness this year.

Will you be the turning point for a young person's future by sponsoring a room at Centrepoint? Your kindness could give a young person a stable home – often for the first time in their life. Instead of worrying about what to eat or where to sleep, they can start to put their lives back together, safe in the knowledge that we’ll be there for as long as they need us.

Of course, every young person is given the support of an expert team of adults too, who they can work with to overcome any past trauma or worries for the future. A room at Centrepoint gives a young person the breathing space they need to pursue education and career goals, so they can build an independent life free from homelessness. New lives begin with room sponsorship, will you start your monthly gift today?

Mia's Story

At just 17, Mia ran away from home in the dead of night, after months of escalating violence and emotional abuse. You can imagine how frightened she felt,  constantly searching for safety.

Thankfully, Mia was connected to the life-changing support of Centrepoint, and no longer has to worry about where she’ll sleep each night. Today, Mia has completed her college course and, with her Key Worker’s support, she has secured a place at university to study Social Work. She can focus on building the better future she deserves  – a testament to her own resilience and the support of our amazing Room Sponsors.
