Every four minutes another young person faces homelessness.

Pacing lonely, dangerous streets, desperately searching for safety.
This is no life for a young person.

Right now, thousands of homeless young people are in grave danger. Being forced into homelessness is a terrifying prospect for anyone – but young people are especially vulnerable to violence and exploitation on our streets. So please don’t delay, your gift could be lifesaving today.

Will you make this winter the turning point, by donating to Centrepoint? Your kindness could give a young person a stable home – often for the first time in their life. Instead of worrying about what to eat or where to sleep, they can start to put their lives back together, safe in the knowledge that we’ll be there for as long as they need us.

Anna's Story

17-year-old Anna was in the middle of studying for her A-Levels when her life was turned upside down by tragedy.

Anna’s younger sister took her own life and the whole family was overwhelmed with grief. In the traumatic time that followed, Anna’s parents turned against her – accusing her of not being there for her sister and forcing her to leave her family home. With nowhere to go, she had no choice but to wander the freezing streets in the depth of winter, riding trains back and forth to keep the cold at bay.

Thankfully, Anna called our helpline, where she received expert support to access emergency accommodation. Safe and warm, Anna was able to continue studying and look towards the future.

"I was feeling helpless and overwhelmed. But Jack at the helpline put me at ease. He helped me get a roof over my head." - Anna
