HRH Prince William cuts a big cake to celebrate the 20th anniversary

A royal celebration at The Rowe

In December 2025, we welcomed our Patron, HRH The Prince of Wales, to the London office to mark 20 years of his patronage of Centrepoint.

The milestone event has been featured in national news outlets, including Sky News, The Telegraph, and The Mirror.

The visit featured lots of handshakes, lots of chatting, and a 27.3kg ultimate chocolate brownie cake (courtesy of royal baker Juliet Sear)!

Prince William took the time to have conversations with this year’s Centrepoint Awards and LOVED Awards winners; long-serving staff; long-standing Ambassador, Lisa Maxwell; and colleagues on the office floor.

Prince William also painted an orange heart in the centre of our new ‘Wall of Hope’ mural, co-created by members of the Lived Experience Advisory Board (LEAB) and artist Lanre Olagoke MBE, himself once supported by Centrepoint.
