Take action to help end youth homelessness

We’re campaigning to end youth homelessness. Together, we can create a world where every vulnerable young person receives the support they need to thrive.

The current systems aren’t working. Last year, almost 124,000 young people faced homelessness in the UK. Of those thousands, over a third did not receive the support they needed from their council. But we can fix this.

We’re changing how our society views homelessness by calling for change and influencing government policy locally and nationally. We advocate for and with our young people – and we want as many people as possible to join us.

We want to show the UK government that a powerful movement is growing, and we won’t stop campaigning until we see every homeless young person receive the support they deserve.

Every year, thousands of young people are left to face homelessness alone without the support they need. Since last year, youth homelessness has increased by 6% - meaning 1 in every 60 young people face homelessness.

We need as many people as possible to tell the UK Government that no young person should be left out from the support they deserve. Join us as we call on the UK Government for:

• A government review into councils' youth homelessness assessment rates as increasing numbers of young people present as homeless
• Funding that matches local demand so that all young people receive a homelessness assessment and timely support

Ensure no young person is left out

No Young Person Left Out campaign

Did you know that over a third of homeless young people in England did not receive a homelessness assessment last year?

That’s over 37,000 young people left out from receiving the homelessness assessment they need – left without safety, stability or support.

When we speak out together, we can fix this broken system and make sure no young person is left out of the support they deserve.

Make Work Pay

Young people deserve to reach their full potential and be excited about their future in work. But outdated benefit rules were holding them back.

Together with young people facing homelessness, our sector colleagues, corporate partners, and over 17,000 members of the public we campaigned for the government to change the system so that young people in supported housing are better off in work.

In November 2025’s Budget, the government committed to Make Work Pay for young people in supported housing – this was a massive campaign win.
