We are excited to announce our plans which are part of our ground breaking Independent Living Programme. This innovative initiative is designed to provide secure, independent living homes for employed young people aged 18 to 25 years old, with rent contributions at just one third of their gross annual salary.
Public Consultation
As part of our consultation process, we held a public exhibition of our plans for the creation of 25 new homes to rent at 46 to 49 Chichester Court, a former care home for adults with disabilities that was decommissioned in 2022 and has remained vacant ever since.
We held the exhibition on Tuesday 13th October at Glebe Primary School, with members of our project team on hand to talk visitors through the proposals for the site.
