The Jobs & Education Team (JET) are the gateway to Centrepoint Works. Our jobs & education advisors will provide you with impartial Careers Education Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG). CEIAG encapsulates a range of services, including focused advice to assist you in making appropriate career decisions, that are informed and well thought through. Your advisor will work with you to identify your strengths and learning needs so they are able to tailor the support provided to you.

We put learners' needs at the centre of all the training we provide. From initial assessments to personalised support and progression routes, we want to give you a clear view of the process and depth of support on offer. We're focused on helping you achieve your individual goals.
Get Set Go is an education and training programme, which includes work experience placements preparing you for your future careers by helping you to become ‘work ready’.
They are designed for people aged 16 to 24 who are ready to enter the world of work, but need tailored support to further develop their skills or experience. The Get Set Go programme will provide you with the essential work preparation training, English, maths and work experience needed to secure an apprenticeship or employment.
We have a number of different programmes for you to choose from, including Hospitality, Catering and Construction, where you can find out what it’s really like to work in the industry and find out more information about job opportunities.

It's never too late to learn, and we can help to boost your confidence with your English and maths skills.
We offer bite-sized English and maths courses that will allow you to learn at your own pace with the support of our trainers, and develop your skills whilst also building your confidence in learning.
We can also offer courses in Functional Skills English and Functional Skills Maths up to Level 2. Our Functional Skills courses provide you with the practical use of English and maths, and how they can be used in real life situations, to help you feel more confident in both your personal life and the work place.

Learning digital and computer skills for work and everyday life has become essential in today’s world. We offer the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) qualifications as well as Essential Digital Skills Qualification. Alongside these we also deliver the new EDSQ workstream qualification which will prepare you for working in an increasingly digital world

Moneywise helps young people learn financial literacy skills, so they can make good financial choices as young adults. Through the tailored support, ‘learners’ are taught how to manage their money, create a budget, understand priority and non-priority bills, and save and prepare for independence. The programme includes one-to-ones for individuals, group workshops, peer-to-peer mentoring, support opening a bank account and applying for official photographic identification. Young people can access the programme as required in their Centrepoint journey and for a six-month period after moving on.
Moneywise gives young people the opportunity to gain expert external advice from a number of recognised financial organisations who support the programme. Those who complete Moneywise show improved financial management skills, including saving money and sticking to a budget.
