1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the matched funding initiative ("Matched Funding") provided by Nationwide Building Society ("Nationwide") in partnership with Centrepoint ("the Charity") as part of the Sleep Out events and Host Your Own Sleep Out events ("the Events"). By participating in the Events, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Matched Funding Details
2.1
Nationwide has committed to match all eligible donations as detailed in section 4 (“Eligible Donations”) made to Centrepoint through the Events, up to a total maximum value of £50,000 ("Matched Funding Cap").
2.2
Matched Funding applies only to Eligible Donations received within the promotional period, as detailed in section 3 ("the Promotional Period").
2.3
Once the Matched Funding Cap of £50,000 has been reached, no additional donations will be matched.
3. Promotional Period
3.1
The promotional period for Matched Funding will run between 1st February to 28th February 2026 inclusive.
3.2
Only Eligible Donations received by Centrepoint during the Promotional Period will be eligible for Matched Funding.
4. Eligible Donations
4.1
Eligible Donations are defined as:
- Monetary donations made directly to the Charity through official fundraising platforms or channels designated by the Charity.
- Donations from individuals, groups, or organisations participating in the Events.
4.2
The following donations are excluded from Matched Funding:
- Donations which don’t meet the eligibility criteria set out in section 4.1.
- Donations made outside the Promotional Period.
- Donations from events or campaigns not affiliated with the Events .
- Donations from Nationwide employees or entities if they are explicitly excluded by separate terms.
5. Allocation of matched funding
Matched Funding will be allocated on a first-received, basis based on the date and time the Eligible Donation is received.
6. Use of Funds
All Matched Funding provided by Nationwide will be used to support the Charity’s charitable activities, in line with the Charity’s mission to end youth homelessness.
7. Transparency and Reporting
7.1
The Charity can, if requested provide updates on the progress of the Matched Funding and the total amount matched by Nationwide.
7.2
The Charity reserves the right to audit and verify donations to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions.
8. General Conditions
The Charity and Nationwide reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice or to cancel the Matched Funding at any time without prior notice if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable.
