Every four minutes another young person faces homelessness.

A generation of young people are at breaking point.

Right now, thousands of homeless young people like Sam are in grave danger. Being forced into homelessness is a terrifying prospect for anyone – but young people are especially vulnerable to violence and exploitation on our streets. So please don’t delay, your gift could be lifesaving today.

Last year, over 118,000 young people faced homelessness. Will you make this winter the turning point, by donating to Centrepoint? Your kindness could give a young person a stable home – often for the first time in their life. Instead of worrying about what to eat or where to sleep, they can start to put their lives back together, safe in the knowledge that we’ll be there for as long as they need us.

Sam in a safe space

Sam's Story

You may remember reading about Sam. At just 21, he had no choice but to leave home. Sam is autistic, has OCD and is hard of hearing, when his mum was struggling to support him their relationship broke down and he resorted to sleeping in the park.

Sam recalls, "When I was on the streets, I didn't care if I lived or died".

Sam called our helpline, and with a safe space and the help of our team, he was able to start rebuilding his confidence and regain a sense of stability. Today, Sam is feeling more in control, reconnecting with his family, and moving forward with the support he needs to thrive.
