This summer, young people across the UK will nervously open their exam results. But what about the thousands who have no one cheering them on, no financial support and nowhere safe to live?

Like Charlotte, who was kicked out of home halfway through sixth form. At just 17-years-old, Charlotte had to navigate a daunting adult world. Thankfully, Centrepoint was there for her at this pivotal time in her life.

Her Key Worker, Amy, ensured she had the safety and support she needed to finish sixth form and get her qualifications.

At last, Charlotte could look beyond where she’d sleep each night, to what her future might look like. She found a journalism course that excited her – and a Centrepoint bursary made it possible.

We’re delighted to tell you that Charlotte passed the course with flying colours and is now studying for a degree in multimedia journalism at university. Without the right support at the right time, young people like Charlotte could miss out on a lifetime of opportunities.

If you believe that’s not fair or right, please make a vital donation today. In these critical summer months, you can help a young person rewrite their future.
