Why Independent Living

Moving on from homelessness isn't just about finding somewhere to live. It's about having the security and stability to build a future.

Centrepoint's Independent Living Programme offers genuinely affordable homes for young people who are working or in an apprenticeship. Rent capped at one-third of their income, helping them manage their living costs, build financial independence and sustain their tenancy.

With more than 120,000 young people experiencing homelessness each year, the need for safe and affordable housing is urgent. Your donation can help create more homes for young people who are ready to move forward.
