Every 10 minutes we get a call to the helpline from a young person desperately in need of help. For many, the Centrepoint Helpline is a vital lifeline. This winter, homeless young people are at risk of abuse and violence and we need to be there for as many as we can. Your donation today could help give them life-changing support of the phone and help them find safety.
Your gift could go towards providing advice and information to a vulnerable young person.
Your gift could pay for providing extended online support for young people with nowhere else to go
Your gift could go towards training more helpline volunteers so we can reach even more young people in need of our support.
Since the Helpline opened in 2017, we have answered almost 25,000 calls helping to prevent many young people from becoming homeless. However, each month, more young people are contacting us in desperate need of advice and support. According to our research this winter, over 29,000 are at risk of homelessness, so we know there are many more who desperately need our support. We need to be there to take their call. Please donate today.
The Helpline is an important advice service for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. With your support, we will continue to be there to answer their call.
"I recently found out that I am pregnant. I’ve been having a rough patch with my mum who I live with. At the moment we’re not talking since she found out I’m pregnant. She’s said she’s kicking me out, but has refused to write me a letter…. I am under a lot of stress...."
Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity. Together with our partners, we support more than 14,000 homeless young people each year. We provide accommodation, mental health support and life skills to get vulnerable young people back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness in the UK.
If you're rough sleeping, sofa surfing or feel unsafe in your home, The Centrepoint Helpline is here to provide support.
You can also get in touch if you're concerned about a young person.
