Why a helpline?

We've found that more than 150,000 young people approached their local authority for help with housing in a year. Many were turned away without support. No one is prepared for homelessness, the housing system is complex and it’s hard to know where to get help and find support. Young people are passed from pillar to post across different organisations. We want to prevent this by connecting young people to the right support at the right time. We listen, we advise and support young people to make a plan that works for them.
