Conversations that blow us away.
The City of London School students chose to support Centrepoint in September 2016 after a student-wide vote. The boys were impacted by seeing a growing number of people sleeping rough near to their school and homes, some the same age as many of them.
The £78,079 total was raised through a variety of events, including a Sleep Out, a sponsored walk, educational talks, busking and marathons with students, staff and parents getting involved.
"My personal highlight was the sponsored Sleep Out," says pupil Abe Tolley. "I was astounded when over a 100 students agreed to take on the challenge."
"Although it was just a small stepping stone in the ongoing fight against youth homelessness, together we raised awareness and funds to help combat the issue."
