Being fit and healthy is important, but sport has the power to do so much more. All our programmes are designed to have a huge impact on young people's long-term prospects. We give young people the practical tools and necessary confidence to positively transform their own situation.
I got involved in the programme by joining Centrepoint with the housing. They had a programme with Arsenal and it was helping basically to get back on track. It was an eight week programme to build friendship and knowledge around football. It made me view things in a lot of different ways. It made me open up as a person, it made me a lot happier.
