In 2018 Disney's The Lion King will support Centrepoint’s work to give homeless young people a future.
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people. We support more than 9,200 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year.
The partnership focuses on helping young people achieve their potential. Disney is planning unique ways for young people to learn and develop – including theatre workshops and business skills opportunities. Young people will also get the chance to experience the show for themselves.
We help young people budget, pay bills and live independently.
It might be the best night's sleep they've had in months – and a step to a more stable future.
Our dedicated trainers help young people improve their basic Maths and English.
At just 15 years old, Tori was hospitalised by her Mum. She was forced to leave home in difficult circumstances twice, first from her mother’s house then her godmother’s. Seven years after leaving Centrepoint, she’s now living a life without fear. She's thriving in her new flat, and working as a dance teacher, photographer, film-maker and fashion designer.
Ever since Centrepoint began, we've focused on improving the lives of homeless young people. We've developed into the UK's leading youth homelessness charity and have seen thousands of success stories in the last four decades.
Thanks to our supporters, we continue to have a major impact for some of the country's most vulnerable young people.
We support more than 9,200 young people aged 16-25 every year.
We now operate 60 services providing support to young people across the UK.
For every pound spent on Centrepoint services it is estimated that we save the public purse £2.40.
