How much do I need to raise?
We only ask you raise what you are able to.
Your page will automatically set a donation target of £150, which could fund an essential starter pack for a homeless young person arriving at our accommodation, ensuring they have fresh bedding, towels, toiletries, cooking equipment and winter clothing.
You're more than welcome to adjust this target according to the challenge you'd like to set yourself!
By taking part in our 11,000 steps challenge, you are helping to end youth homelessness.
Register to join the challenge - and remember you'll get a free t-shirt with your first donation!
Participants are challenged to walk 11,000 steps a day in March to raise funds for Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity. Together, we can end youth homelessness. The challenge officially starts on 1 March, but you can sign up from 1 February.
Nope, this event is FREE for anyone to take part! However, every day we're working flat out to end youth homelessness, so any money you can raise for Centrepoint would really help us to reach more vulnerable young people who need our support.
There's no registration deadline, but the t-shirt offer is only available whilst stocks last, so we recommend you or any friends or family join the challenge as early as possible to avoid any disappointment!
Most importantly, you're challenging yourself! However much you achieve, we're so grateful for your support and for raising much needed funds for Centrepoint.
When you register, you will automatically set up a Facebook and a Centrepoint fundraising page which you can share with friends and family in or outside of Facebook.
If you have another favourite platform please let us know on email@example.com and we can see if we can get you registered on that!
Absolutely! We actually recommend making a small donation on your own page (if possible!) to help kick-start your fundraising. Remember that just £40 could provide a homeless young person with a kitchen starter pack, meaning that they can cook proper meals, eat healthy and avoid hunger and malnutrition throughout the cost of living crisis. Thanks so much for your amazing support!
Absolutely! It's your personal challenge and we encourage everyone to adapt it to suit their needs and goals.
Absolutely! It's your personal challenge and we encourage everyone to adapt it to suit their needs and goals. If you’d like to use all 31 days in March to spread out the steps or do it in two weeks, that’s absolutely fine.
If you have any health concerns, please talk to your doctor before taking part in this challenge. The challenge should be completed however is best for your physical ability.
All sponsorship will come directly to Centrepoint. You don't have to worry about this. It happens automatically! Thanks so much for your incredible support!
Unfortunately, we have a very limited stock of t-shirts and will only be able to supply one t-shirt per registered fundraiser.
Unfortunately it appears that Facebook have recently removed that option. However, if you want to fundraise together, you can use just one page to fundraise but it will be only in one person's name. Thanks so much for your amazing support!
From the point of receiving your first donation it can take up to 10 working days for it to arrive. We send t-shirts out by Royal Mail. If you've waited longer than this, please contact us on Messenger or firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll look into this for you. Thanks so much for your patience.
