Our impact and success

Every day, our aim is to give homeless young people a future. Our long-term goal is to end youth homelessness.

Making a difference Since 1969

Ever since Centrepoint was founded in a church basement in Soho, we’ve focused on improving the lives of homeless young people. Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’re now able to reach 15,000 homeless young people each year.

88 per cent of our young people move on positively

The homeless young people that come to Centrepoint stay with us for up to two years. An amazing 88 per cent then move into their own homes, connect back with their families, get their first jobs or go to university.

Moving On

Learning

78 per cent of Centrepoint residents who took Centrepoint Works training courses in 2018/19 finished with a qualification.

Helpline

The first of its kind, our Helpline offers advice to anyone in England aged 16-25 who needs help with homelessness.

Sport
