Take on the highest three peaks in Yorkshire to help change the story for homeless young people.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a demanding twenty-five mile trek with spectacular rewards. On Sunday 15 May, you can conquer the three highest peaks in Yorkshire to help end youth homelessness.

Fundraising target £350

Starting and finishing in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, you'll take on Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. 

You will cover 25 miles, following an iconic walking route and witnessing some of the county’s most stunning scenery.

We will be starting the challenge from the Yorkshire Dales National Park car park in Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Groups will be setting off at 7:00am promptly, so we ask that you arrive for 6:30am to allow time to be registered and briefed on the day ahead.

The challenge is to walk the route in under 12 hours. Depending on how fast your group walks, you could finish relatively late.  As a result, you may wish to stay nearby on Friday and/or Saturday night.

If you do choose to stay overnight, there are plenty of different accommodation options, from campsites to hotels. Horton-in-Ribblesdale has various options but there is also accommodation in Settle, Ingleton, and Malham. It is easy to get to Horton-in-Ribblesdale from these places by car. Some of the available accommodation options can be found listed on the Three Peaks website.

To enjoy your Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge as much as possible, please ensure you have the kit listed below. 

  • Rucksack
  • Walking boots
