Emergency Coronavirus Appeal Update

We launched our Emergency Coronavirus Appeal to raise at least £2million to help vulnerable young people stay safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Thanks to our supporters we’re nearly there.

£2,031,339 raised of £2,000,000 target!

We’ve had some truly remarkable contributions from partners such as The Selfridges Group Foundation, The Co-Operative Bank, Great Portland Estates and Julius Baer. The commitment of several long-term partners to continue funding critical programmes in the future, despite these challenging times, has provided us with reassurance and stability. We’re so grateful.

We want to say an enormous THANK YOU to all of our partners and supporters for their contributions, no matter how big or small. Each and every donation has helped us to keep homeless young people safe during this crisis.

We will continue to work hard to reach our £2million goal. If you’d like to help us reach our target, please make a donation.

More than money

When we launched the Emergency Appeal it wasn’t just financial support we needed, but also vital products and provisions. The response has been amazing and we’ve had some incredible donations. PPE from Michael Josephson MBE, Greensand Distillery, Howard Kennedy, Howdens Cranleigh, and UNIQLO has been invaluable. SIM cards from Vodafone have kept our young people connected. Food, toiletries and supermarket vouchers came in from Fletchers Solicitors, Libra Europe, Tesco and Morrisons. These are just a few examples, and we cannot thank our supporters enough.

A big thanks to Simon for completing his Step-A-Thon!

Individual brilliance!

We’ve also been overwhelmed by the generosity of individuals who have done remarkable things to raise money for Centrepoint.

So many people have taken part in weird and wonderful challenges, from a 12-hour OnTheStep-A-Thon (left) to the 2.6 Challenge, head-shaving to speed eating. Thank you to you all - we admire your ingenuity!

Fundraising challenges

Our partners have found all sorts of creative ways to support our campaign, using their platforms to organise fundraisers and creating motivational messages – as Great Portland Estate’s Finance and Operations Director Nick Sanderson did!
