Centrepoint Works puts young people on the path to lasting employment through employability programmes, functional skills training and other learning initiatives designed specifically for people looking for work or to progress in their chosen career. Qualified trainers support young people throughout their individual journeys. Centrepoint Works’ programmes are available to unemployed young people, beyond those in Centrepoint hostels.
Centrepoint works with young people across the Tees Valley as part of the Pathways Programme. This programme will support 8,698 young people aged 15 to 29 across the Tees Valley area who are unemployed or inactive, with the aim of progressing them into education, employment, training or self-employment. Take a look at the link below to find out more information.
In order to achieve our goal of ending youth homelessness and helping young people achieve their full potential, we need to be transparent about everything we do. We have built our reputation on trust, honesty and tangible results. As such, you can view all of our policies and procedures here, which are also available to download.
Being homeless takes its toll on young people. We give them the support they need to look after their mental and physical health.
Centrepoint gives homeless young people a place to stay while they get the help they need to move on to independence.
At all times our aim is to prepare homeless young people to live independently.
