Sara Cox at Ultimate Pub Quiz

Stars put heads together at our Ultimate Pub Quiz

Teams of fundraisers pitted their wits against celebrities in support of Centrepoint.

What is Hugh Grant's occupation in the film Notting Hill? How many players are there in a hurling team? Name the three countries in the world that begin with the letter J.

These were some of the questions host Alan Carr posed at Centrepoint's star-studded Ultimate Pub Quiz at Village Underground, Shoreditch.

Dermot O'Leary, Sara Cox, Lisa Maxwell, Scott Mills, Shane Richie and Love Island stars Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen were among those who put their thinking caps on.

A total of 31 teams took part with some brilliant team names including Trivia Newton John, Quizzy McQuizface and Les Quizerables.

But in the end it was Sara Cox and Scott Mills' team, the Radioheads, who were crowned our Ultimate Pub Quiz 2018 winners – helped in no small part by professional quizzer from the BBC's Eggheads, Kevin Ashman.

So far the event has raised a fantastic £68,000 for homeless young people in the UK.

"Thanks to our supporters’ generosity, we can keep working with young people to tackle their health problems, find a way back into work or education, and get the life skills necessary to leave homelessness behind," says Richard Utting, Head of Events at Centrepoint.
