Welcome to Centrepoint: The UK's leading youth homelessness charity

Together with our partners, we support more than 10,000 homeless young people each year.

At Centrepoint, we help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.

MORE THAN A NUMBER THE SCALE OF YOUTH HOMELESSNESS

The stats for homeless young people are shocking. Our research revealed that in 2017/18, an estimated 103,000 young people approached their local authority because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

What is youth homelessness?

We know homeless young people are sleeping rough on the streets every night. But there are thousands more you don't see.

Our support services

We provide accommodation, health support and life skills to get vulnerable young people back into education, training and employment.

Our impact

Thanks to our supporters, we've been one of the most effective charities that help homeless young people for almost 50 years.

Real stories – Zinnia's journey

Aged five, Zinnia’s mum kicked her and her dad out. Aged nine, Zinnia was placed into foster care. After the birth of her child, Zinnia became homeless.

But after coming to Centrepoint, Zinnia received emotional support for her mental health and help with life skills to get her back on track. Now she's thriving in her own home and has her dream job as a painter and decorator.
