Speculative applications

Occasionally, we do accept speculative applications depending on your skills and interest. Please fill in our application form and select "Other" in the "What role are you applying for?" field. Then give us some more information about your skills and experience and we'll get back to you if we have a suitable role.

Things to consider when applying

We ask you for a minimum of six months commitment. This is so that we can ensure consistency with young people which helps to establish supportive and trusting relationships – something we believe is essential to our work at Centrepoint.

Our application process

  1. Apply to be a volunteer
  2. Attend interview or selection evening
  3. DBS clearance and reference checks
  4. Training 1: About Centrepoint and the issue of youth homelessness
  5. Training 2: Skills for volunteering with young people at Centrepoint
  6. Second interview
  7. Induction with supervisor
